Who is the woman that Gabriel killed in Dead Reckoning Part One?

Previous Mission Impossible movies have always focused on Ethan Hunt. Now in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, we will be introduced to a small part of Ethan Hunt’s life and background.

Dead Reckoning Part One introduces Ethan Hunt’s past through flashbacks. In the briefly shown scene, Gabriel, who now appears and becomes an accomplice to the Entity, kills a woman in a dark alley.

The identity of the woman from Hunt’s past that Gabriel killed was eventually revealed named Marie. Hunt was held responsible for her death once police arrived on the scene.

This is what later made Ethan Hunt decide to join the IMF rather than be imprisoned, perhaps in the hope that he could find Gabriel using IMF resources and get revenge on him for Marie’s death.

Due to Marie’s little ‘screen time’ in Mission Impossible 7, most of the story is still shrouded in mystery, Marie in flashback appears to be Hunt’s ‘love interest’.

The women around Ethan Hunt are always in mortal danger.

Christopher McQuarrie announces cast additions Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One with the inclusion of the name of the actress Mariela Garriga as Marie.

This name will certainly appear in Dead Reckoning Part One and Part Two, so Marie and Hunt’s history and background will be more fully and clearly revealed.

However, Marie was not the only woman to be murdered in Ethan Hunt’s life.

In the last Mission Impossible, there is another woman who was close to Hunt and was also killed in the end, namely Ilsa Faust and again the one responsible for Ilsa’s death is Gabriel.

Another woman who was killed because of Hunt is Lindsey Farris (Keri Russell) who appears in Mission: Impossible III and is Hunt’s protégé. Lindsey was murdered while she was on a mission in Germany and died in the arms of Ethan Hunt.

The only survivor is the woman Hunt married.

The only woman to survive death was Julia Meade-Hunt (Michelle Monaghan), whom Hunt married. Julia, who works as a doctor, appears as Hunt’s wife in Mission: Impossible III and then it reappears Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocolhis last appearance is deep Mission: Impossible – Fallout.

Hunt eventually decided to part ways with her because his job meant that Julia was always in danger. In Mission Impossible 5, Julia, who later meets Hunt while carrying out her mission, has remarried to a man named Erik who also works as a doctor.
