The unifying hero of the Avengers Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) is often seen alone. No family identity or children that he has. However, at the end of the series. secret invasion episode 2, a big secret finally revealed:
It turns out that Nick Fury is married to a shape-shifting Skrull.
Episode 2 itself begins with a flashback to 1995 after the events of the movie. captain marvelwhere Fury has been given a clue to the whereabouts of the Skrulls.
Fury, along with Talos, are working hard to find a new permanent home for the refugees. They also work together with the help of a Skrull named Varra (Charlayne Woodard), who later introduces Fury and Talos to Gravik (Kingsley Ben-Adir).
Decades later, with the Skrull invasion actually taking place, Fury returns home. Not the house where the Avengers came together or the Earth where he was, but the house that made him a husband.
Who is Varra/Pricilla Fury?
In episode 3, series secret invasion explores more about the lives of Fury and Varra, whose human form goes by the name Priscilla. Their history together stretches back decades, as Priscilla joined Fury’s vast network of connections over the years.
Even so, Varra’s own character does not appear in the Marvel comics. The possible addition of Priscilla Fury to the story is just one of the many mysteries featured in Secret Invasion. So fans wanting to meet Nick Fury’s wife may not get many clues through the Marvel comics.
If you look at the comic sources, Nick Fury has several romantic relationships with Fontaine’s Valentina Allegra, a gun smuggler named Amber D’Alexis, and Nia Jones. However, there was no one named Priscilla.
However, it’s clear that Fury and Priscilla are far from wedded bliss at the moment. Years have passed and both have changed, can they still trust each other?
