Last Thursday, coinciding with the first day San Diego Comic-Con, DC officially announced Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, a new comic that consists of 7 issues. The comic is planned to be released in October. As the title suggests, Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong is a collaboration between DC, Legendary Comics and Toho International, which will feature a battle between the greatest heroes of the DC Universe against these two iconic monsters.
The comic will be written by Brian Buccellato, with Christian Duce doing the art. DC will reveal more details about the comic on Friday at San Diego Comic-Con. In Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, the battle between the Justice League and the Legion of Doom takes a dangerous turn when the wall between worlds is breached with Godzilla, Kong and the Monsterverse appearing on DC Earth.
What followed was an unprecedented epic fight of incredible scale and devastation. This epic crossover begins when Clark Kent, enjoying a relaxing time with Lois Lane, is suddenly interrupted by a city-wide roar due to the appearance of Godzilla.
Famous comic book artist Jim Lee (who is also a representative of DC) also came down to praise this comic. “As a comic book fan, there is nothing more fun and interesting than exploring the amazing situations of ‘What if?
