The trailer shows Jamie taking his first flight and takes us back to the events that led to his being chosen by Scarab. This moment is similar to various superhero movies at the beginning when they gain powers, for example, Tobey Maguire’s version of Spider-Man finds his powers for the first time.
The trailer also outlines the intentions of Victoria Kord’s evil character, played by Susan Sarandon. This new record makes the world of Blue Beetle feel fresh and nostalgic.
