“We will not leave our friends”, – Doraemon (Doraemon Nobita’s Heaven’s Utopia2023)
Doraemon Nobita’s Heaven’s Utopia will be released in Indonesian theaters on July 19, 2023. Cineverse participated in a special screening with many Doraemon fans, especially children at CGV Grand Indonesia on July 14, 2023.
The 42nd Doraemon film is being directed by Takumi Doyama, who usually handles Doraemon TV’s anime projects. Ryota Furusawa wrote the script for the film. Doraemon Nobita’s Heaven’s Utopiaand for the first time he joins the Doraemon movie project.
Synopsis
Nobita, who is still lazy as usual, finds Dekisugi interesting historical stories about the land of Utopia. A dream island where everything is perfect, everyone happy and nothing sad, everyone smart and lots of fun.
Nobita invites Doraemon to find the location of Utopia, which he accidentally sees while daydreaming on the hill behind the school. Doraemon, Nobita, Shizuka, Gian, and Zuneo travel back in time and find lands based on ancient news.
They found a country of utopia on the cloud called Paradapia. They are invited to stay to enjoy the perfect land that was told in the previous fairy tale.
Shizuka, Gian and Zuneo have felt and feel comfortable living in Paradapia. However, Nobita doesn’t seem to enjoy the perfect country led by the 3 Sages. Something is wrong, Nobita and Doraemon investigate it.
The future is full of surprises.
Not knowing exactly where and when, Paradapia immediately made Doraemon and Nobita’s adventures have a purpose. A rather blurry destination in the middle of the road, this Paradapia convinces us a bit of the legends of the country in several places.
Compared to a perfect utopia or paradise, it is indeed food for Nobita who is lazy to get good things. He even just pretends to be a perfect student and not get bad grades all the time.
While other friends also wish not to be too grand. This country also seems easy to make everything happen, with technology that is considered very sophisticated, an island in the sky, even without the help of sunlight.
Paradapia can change space and time at will. With an explanation at the end, how they became people’s dream places. It’s a bit weird and becomes the main conflict in the second half of the movie.
22nd century robot cat
In doraemon nobita sky utopia, Doraemon isn’t the only robot cat with his fancy tools. At the beginning of the movie we are shown a bit, that many of Doraemon’s tools are obsolete, so he becomes a bit lost in this adventure.
Luckily there is Sonya, the guide or the person who brought Nobita and his friends to Paradapia. Sonya is also a robot cat like Doraemon. Sonya became the perfect robot cat in Paradapia, which Doraemon envied for being the perfect robot cat herself.
These two robot cats are key at the end of the fight. Paradapia’s influence actually only applies to humans, so robots like Doraemon and Sonya only rely on their goal of becoming perfect robots.
Nobita, who maybe his brain is too stupid or his heart is too kind and innocent, so he can’t be affected by the perfect things in Paradapia.
Dynamic and consistent visual images
This time, the animated representation of the Doraemon movie is not excessive in the use of 3D elements that are sometimes used in various Doraemon movies. Doraemon and Nobita’s adventures remain dynamic with many backgrounds.
Nobita and his friends search for the crescent-shaped Utopia at various times. The adventures are complemented by unique clothing, although not direct Doraemon tools, this sophisticated tool is an exciting fantasy in itself.
A toy plane that suddenly turns into a full pilot outfit and can carry the owner in a single plane shaped like each different character. There aren’t many Doraemon gadgets in this movie.
A tool out and as usual Nobita who is always careless messes up Doraemon’s tool plan or something that should be profitable.
Going on an adventure with a different time machine doesn’t make the story monotonous and that’s it again. This time Doraemon Nobita’s Heaven’s Utopiahe will make his own surprise using the time travel game.
Conclusion
It doesn’t seem like Doraemon has taken us all on a 42 movie adventure. doraemon nobita sky utopia, The time travel plot game returns with the addition of a dream land, successfully attracting enthusiastic Doraemon fans.
The 2D image in the style of the weekly Doraemon anime evokes a nostalgic feeling for Doraemon lovers, who can still be faithful to watching the animation on Sunday mornings.
