Marvel’s upcoming newest series Agatha: Coven of Chaos will no doubt be WandaVision season 2 according to one of the stars. WandaVision is the first series that Marvel Studios introduces in the MCU timeline. This series is the opening of several other series and also other movies in Phase 4. The series itself centers on the figure of Wanda who is frustrated that she has to lose her Vision, after what happened in the Avengers movie. : Infinity War.
Wanda, who is fed up with real life, tries to create her own reality. However, Wanda did this “illegally” because she kidnapped the natives of the Westview area. In this series, we are introduced to several new characters, such as Agatha Harkness. At first, Agatha introduced herself as Wanda’s neighbor. However, it was revealed that she was also a witch seeking Wanda’s powers.
At the end of the series, Agatha was finally defeated by Wanda and Agatha’s fate was a mystery. However, in the end this was answered with the Agatha: Coven of Chaos series which gave a sign that Agatha was still alive and would return. The interesting thing is that this series will be a “sequel” to WandaVision. In an interview with Berkshire Magazine, Coven of Chaos star Debra Jo Rupp said that it’s technically certain that Agatha: Coven of Chaos is season 2 of WandaVision.
“This (Agatha: Coven of Chaos) is the second season of ‘WandaVision’ for Marvel. The series is very similar to ‘American Horror Story’, in the sense that each season is something new. I was surprised when they called me, because I never expected, and I’m fine with that. But when they contacted me, I was very happy because this is a character that I have never played. He (his character of him) would be so much fun.”
This fact is certainly interesting considering that the fate of Wanda Maximoff is currently still unclear. As shown in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Wanda turned evil after reading the Darkhold book. However, she later sacrificed herself after realizing that what she had done was wrong. Many suspected that Wanda had died after sacrificing herself to destroy the Darkhold. However, the latest news says that Wanda from Earth-838 will appear in Deadpool 3.
