10 MCU Concepts That Failed!

The Marvel Cinematic Universe, aka the MCU, often comes up with interesting concepts for their movies, but there are also some ideas that ultimately fail. From the very beginning, the MCU was in a unique position in the Hollywood film industry. The cinematic universe built by Marvel Studios has featured 30 movie titles and eight television series titles.

First appearing in 2008, the MCU has been running for over a decade. They present many interesting ideas that are realized in these films. However, with so many ideas coming up for the MCU, not all of them can be applied. There were also several concepts that ended up unused and didn’t make it to the air for various reasons. Here are several MCU concepts that didn’t air.

10Robot Arnim Zola

Arnim Zola can be considered one of the most underrated villains in the MCU. The character himself is played by Toby Jones. Arnim was involved in several major events in the MCU, from reforming HYDRA to making Bucky Barnes the Winter Soldier. Arnim Zola last appeared in the movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The interesting thing is that in a concept art shared by Josh Nizzi, the character of Arnim Zola almost appears in the Ant-Man movie. He also appears with a new appearance, that is, with a robotic body. Unfortunately, however, in the end this concept was canceled in the MCU movie.
